Meet The Founder
Christina Simmons
Christina’s childcare journey began at 14, babysitting for neighbors. Her passion for helping others led her to pursue Early Childhood Education, dreaming of becoming a special education teacher. Financial challenges forced her to withdraw, but she remained devoted to care work as a nanny, event caregiver, paraprofessional, and home health aide.
Recognizing her love for babysitting, Christina launched "NannyLand LLC," which thrived through word of mouth. Overwhelmed by demand, she realized families needed a trusted, personal solution—leading to the creation of Joy’s Sitters.
Her vision is simple: families should never second-guess their child’s care. As Christina puts it, “We’re erasing doubt!”
