Pricing & Fees

 Requirement: 4-hour minimum

Agency Booking Fee: $30

On-Demand Sitter Prices
1-4 Children US$25/hr
Overnight Care US$25/hr Plus $100 Fee
Holidays US$35/hr
Driving US$0.67/mile

*For overnight care, sleep hours are not charged at the hourly rate.

Overnight Care Hours Example:

  • Sleep Hours are the hours between 10:00 PM and 6:00 AM, billed at a flat fee.

Pricing Example:

A member books a sitter from 8:00 PM–7:00 AM.

Wake Hours:

  • 8:00 PM–10:00 PM (2 hours): $25/hour x 2 = $50.
  • 6:00 AM–7:00 AM (1 hour): $25/hour x 1 = $25. 

Sleep Hours:

  • 10:00 PM–6:00 AM (flat fee): $100.

Total Cost: $50 (wake) + $100 (sleep) + $25 (wake) = $175.

Refunds & Cancellations Policy

 

  1. Cancellations Made 24 Hours or More Before the Scheduled Start Time:

    • Clients will receive a full refund of the service fee.

    • The booking fee is non-refundable.

  2. Cancellations Made Less Than 24 Hours Before the Scheduled Start Time:

    • Clients will be charged 50% of the service fee.

    • The booking fee is non-refundable.

  3. Cancellations Made 1 Hour or Less Before the Scheduled Start Time or No Call/No Show:

    • Clients will be charged 100% of the service fee.

    • The booking fee is non-refundable.

  4. Sitter Cancellations:

    • If the assigned sitter cancels and Joy’s Sitters is unable to provide a replacement sitter at least 30 minutes before the scheduled start time, clients will receive a full refund of both the booking fee and the service fee.

Definitions:

  • Booking Fee: The agency’s non-refundable fee for arranging sitter services.

  • Service: The payment for the hours the sitter is scheduled to provide care.

By booking with Joy’s Sitters, clients acknowledge and agree to this cancellation and refund policy.

-Labor Day

-Martin Luther King Day

-Easter Sunday

-Juneteenth

-Fourth of July

-Thanksgiving Day

-Christmas Day

 

Note: 

  • All additional fees and charges are paid directly to your confirmed sitter.

  • All sitters receive a $25 hourly rate for their time.

  • All "Pay-As-You-Go" bookings incur a $30 booking fee, which goes directly to the agency.
