Introduction

Introduction Welcome to Joy’s Sitters LLC. By accessing or using our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. Accessing our services constitutes acceptance of these terms. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please refrain from using our services.

 

Services Provided

Joy’s Sitters LLC offers a range of childcare solutions, including:

  • On-demand sitting and babysitting services tailored to meet family needs.
  • Consistent childcare services for families seeking regular, ongoing care.
  • Overnight care services, providing peace of mind for parents needing overnight assistance.
  • Hotel childcare services, offering trusted care for families traveling or staying in hotels.
  • Snag a Sitter service for families looking to hire a permanent caregiver, with a 90-day replacement period.

While we make every effort to accommodate specific client requests, we do not guarantee that any particular sitter will be available for each booking.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use our services. By utilizing our services, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.

 

User Accounts

To access certain features, you may be required to create an account with us. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and for all activities conducted under your account. Please notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

 

Payment Terms

  • Non-Members: Pay a $30 agency booking fee for each booking and $25/hour for sitting and babysitting services.
  • Members: Pay a flat $25/hour for sitting and babysitting services with no additional agency booking fee.
  • Snag a Sitter: Families pay a flat fee of $2,500 for securing a permanent caregiver through our Snag a Sitter service. This fee is payable directly to Joy’s Sitters LLC. All trial sessions conducted during the 90-day replacement period will be at the family's expense, including sitter hourly rates and applicable booking fees.

    • All prices are listed in USD and are subject to change. Payment is required at the time of acceptance of a sitter for sitting and babysitting services, and upon acceptance of a sitter for the Snag a Sitter service. Accepted forms of payment include debit/credit cards, ACH, and Zelle. You agree to provide accurate payment information and authorize us to charge you for services rendered.

     

    Refund and Cancellation Policy

    • Standard Sitting/Sitter/Babysitting Bookings:

    • Cancel 24 hours or more before the scheduled start time: Full refund.

    • Cancel less than 24 hours before the scheduled start time: Charged 50% of the total service.

    • Cancel 1 hour or less before the scheduled start time or No Call/No Show: Charged 100% of the total service.

    • The booking fee is non-refundable.

    • If your sitter cancels and Joy’s Sitters cannot provide another sitter at least 30 minutes before the scheduled start time, a full refund of the service and booking fee will be issued.

    • Memberships: All memberships are non-refundable. Members may cancel their membership at any time, and upon cancellation, all membership benefits will cease immediately.
    • Snag a Sitter: The Snag a Sitter fee (Placement Fee) is non-refundable. However, Joy’s Sitters LLC offers a 90-day replacement period. All trial sessions conducted during this period will be at the family's expense.

     

    Intellectual Property

    All content on our website and within our services, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is the property of Joy’s Sitters LLC and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.

     

    Limitation of Liability

    To the fullest extent permitted by law, Joy’s Sitters LLC shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of our services. Joy’s Sitters LLC is not responsible for any misconduct, negligence, or issues caused by the babysitter. You acknowledge that Joy’s Sitters LLC disclaims liability for any actions or omissions by the sitter and agree to hold Joy’s Sitters LLC harmless from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from their conduct.

     

    Indemnification

    You agree to indemnify and hold Joy’s Sitters LLC harmless from any claims, losses, liabilities, or expenses arising from your use of our services or violation of these terms.

     

    Confidentiality

    Joy’s Sitters LLC is committed to protecting your personal information, which will be used solely for providing services and will not be sold to third parties. Additionally, any information you obtain about our sitters may only be used for contacting them while they are providing care for your child(ren) and must remain confidential.

     

    Modifications to Terms

    Joy’s Sitters LLC reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on our website, and you will be notified by email. Continued use of our services after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

     

    Governing Law and Jurisdiction

    This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Georgia. Any disputes arising from this Agreement will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Atlanta, Georgia.
